Serving Southeastern Wisconsin

Tracey Ellicson Ratzburg, Cedarburg, WI

My mom always said to me when I was little, "It runs in the family." Even though what I have to
offer my clients is a God given talent - there is much practice and learning behind it.

I have attended classes taught by local artists such as Dale Konstanz (MIAD &
UW-Washington County), Pam Flanders and Kelly Kelenic who is associated with the Shauer
Art Center in Hartford & the North Shore Academy of Art in Grafton, WI and has a private
studio in Port Washington, WI.

I have had gallery shows at St. Somewhere Café in West Bend, WI and more recently at the
Painted Bean Coffee House and Gallery in Grafton, WI. Some of my work is graced by blue
ribbons won at the Washington County Fair in 2002 & 2004. I have also helped create stage
props/scenery for productions such as
Cats, The Lion King, The Wiz, Alice In Wonderland
and
It's A Wonderful Life. My murals grace both private homes and public places such as The
Family Center of Washington County (both locations) and the Jackson Park and Rec.

With all this I have 4 children ages ranging from 12 to 24 and 1 grand baby who is almost 9
months. My husband owns his own electrical control panel company and I am Office Manager.
That and keeping up the house, being a taxi and camping......life is full. But something was
missing. I loved art. But needed to have it mean more than a paycheck. When I found AWBA
online.....I knew I had found what I was looking for - what was missing. Upon several weeks of
research and prayer, I signed on and the rest is history. Although it was a long journey - little
over a year - it is well worth it. Glad to be part of the family!

Testimonials:

"I can’t praise the Art Without Boundaries™ program enough. The result of the program for our residents
has been amazing.  I am not a skeptical person by nature and I have always maintained a positive attitude
but I did not think the program presented by Art Without Boundaries™ could work with the residents of our
facility.  Every resident is in an advanced stage of dementia so that chances of them being able to follow
directions and participate in the art session seemed very remote. How wrong I was. Our MnemeTherapist
has been a very patient, skilled professional with every resident and the result has been surprisingly
beautiful art, residents that smiled and responded during the session, were more alert and tranquil after the
session and seemed much more content with the remaining part of the hour and sometimes even the rest
of the day after the session. I would highly recommend the program." Adminstrator/Founder

"We strive everyday to bring new and innovative activities to our Residents.I have trouble finding the words to
describe what the Art Without Boundaries™ program has brought to our facility. This program boosts
cognition, self-worth and brings a sense of accomplishment to our Residents. They are getting a great
moment in time, having fun (yet working hard) and succeeding in a finished product they can be proud of.
Although there are so many things our Residents can no longer do, MnemeTherapy is something they CAN
do and provides a sense of pride and self-esteem" - Activities Director

"I have seen our MT bring out the best in people through her work and the program; it is changing lives in
our building" -Social Services

"This program not only benefits the staff here, it touches the lives of the families and staff here, too." -
Director of Nursing

"The self-esteem alone that his program brings is amazing! You can see the glow and smiles on the faces
of the Residents as they hold up their finished product...they just beam." - Admissions Coordinator
