June 29, 2010 is The SW Florida Chapter’s 1st Year Anniversary!
We are going strong bringing MnemeTherapy™ to our entire area through the Art
Without Boundaries Association. We have been warmly embraced by the Senior and
Autism communities in Lee, Charlotte and Collier Counties.

I’ve had the opportunity of speaking about AWBA to Alzheimer’s Associations,
Regional Activity Directors Meeting, been interviewed by Channel 2 NBC News, and
attending multiple “art shows” everywhere, presenting our client’s beautiful artwork to
family and friends in Southwest Florida.

My second year promises to be exciting as well as challenging. As a Certified Master
MnemeTherapist, I will be certifying apprentices in Columbia, SC, and Lansing,
Michigan, helping them establish their own Chapters of AWBA.
I've trained and certified my first local Independent Contractor to help me better cover
the needs of SW Florida. She reflects the same high standard of excellence and is
designated as “Associate CMT”.

Art Without Boundaries truly IS a boundless experience in the arts that anyone, young
or old, can enjoy and benefit from if they are “just willing to try”! My experience with
AWBA has been pure joy! Successes I’ve enjoyed in the my personal and professional
art experience “pale in comparison” at seeing firsthand the pleasure people get from
seeing their own painting unfold before their eyes and physical and mental limitations
often improve! Serving others with your talents is the ultimate joy in life! Past
experience as a caregiver and health professional has helped me understand the
complexities of my clients’ world. Perhaps raising 3 kids, home schooling and being
the wife of a Marine Corps Colonel has given me patience and grace as well! I am a
blessed woman- with a wonderful job, a supportive husband and family and an
Awesome God!
